The Guild of Sommeliers Education Foundation, together with the American Court of Master Sommeliers, makes funds available to students in need of financial assistance under three scholarship programs. Scholarships are awarded annually based on merit, outstanding character, hard work and need.

Master Sommelier Scholarship – provides funds to Master Sommelier candidates sitting for their exam in the U.S.
John Unger Master Sommelier Scholarship and John Unger Advanced Sommelier Scholarship - provides funds to two Master Sommelier candidates to travel to the UK and sit for the Master Sommelier Diploma Exam.
Bonaccorsi Advanced Sommelier Scholarship - provides funds to four (4) Advanced Sommelier candidates to travel to the UK and sit for the Advanced Sommelier Exam.
